I have an Asus M2N-MX SE Plus motherboard, AMD Athlon 64x2 2.6Ghz processor, 1 GB Kingston Ram, 1 Seagate 160 GB Hard Drive, Lite-On DVD DL Burner with Windows XP Pro x64 edition and Leopard 10.5.2 from the Leo 4 All v2 DVD.

I had worked for 2 days now to get everything working and the last step was my USBs. For some reason only the old Mac keyboard with Mac mouse worked. I could plug in my PNY 8GB flash drive into the other port on the keyboard and transfer files from my pc to the Hackintosh, but nothing else could be powered by it. Also I had an EnGenius USB wireless adapter (EUB-3701EXT) that only worked one time, then after reboot has not since been picked up by Leopard.

So I updated my USB kext and at the same time went from the generic nvidia 256mb kext to the updated nvidia kext (forgot the exact one) but now I get a kernel panic:

Debugger called: <panic>

Any help would be appreciated. I have tried repairing permissions and repairing the disk. Everything comes back ok. I even tried repair kernel at the boot menu.

Thanks in advance for helping.

Did you back up the original? If so, boot into Windows and use something like MacDrive to replace the edited file with the original.

Thank you for your response. I did not back it up, so I just reinstalled.

It gives me practice. Lol.

But I still can't get USB 2.0 to work.
