Are you sure? I did everything right, installed 1.21 but i can't find frontrow in systempreferences! If i install an update of Frontrow, do I have to delete some file before or can I overwrite everythng with Pacifist 2.0?

I cant convert. My ids are 0x050c & 0x03f0, but I cant get the x0. I just get 0x50c, or 0x3f0.

 

And I dont have frontrow in the keyboard shortcuts menu.

hey... i just found this little blue tooth appz... and when install in a compatible ericsson mobile phone,,, it will act more than a remote control via BT... its design for mediacentral but can also control front row... thanks for the authour... hope he can make options on what to start... front raw or mediacentral... try it on compatible mobile

How about running front row on a secondary monitor is that possible. i.e. the display that doesn't have the menu bar on it. Also need a technique that works with apple IR remote.

im having trouble with converting the product id and vendor id. i got the vendor id from a post i found of someone with the same id but the product id wasn't the same. I know how to get the id but i cant get 0x0307. only 0x307. Can someone please help me out?

Hi All, having trouble with this...

 

I followed the guide to the letter and I cannot get Front Row to start...

 

When I hit CMD + ESC All the system icons on the titlebar disappear and then reload...

 

Anyone having the same problem?

Yes, When I hit CMD + ESC my mouse pointer disappears for a few seconds and Front Row can be seen in the process list...

 

I'm not sure what it could be... My system supports QE and CI too...

OK, I got it working but I don't know how. All I did was download the launcher that domino had posted. I tried that before but it didn't work although I did get a new edited pack for Bezel.Services...

OK, It works but it's a pain in the ass to start... note the 2 icons on the desktop, I first have to execute Front Row Runner THEN Front Row...

 

The shortcut key doesn't work and I have buggered my keyboard preferences tab (how do I restore it? I have my current install backed up on another HD)

Ah Yes, it's all good now. Restored BezelServices and Front Row can launch quickly and easily... BUT, I have no options for Front Row in the System Preferences or even the sound effects option in Sound Pane...

If you set it up by editing the kext and installing frontrow, all you need to do is attatch the usb device (if its not always in) but your setup is strange.

This method works great for me , I tryed the frontrow enabler method previously but it just messed up my preferences panel.

 

I have QE disabled because of the Nforce3 problem , but my CI and OpenGL still work. So it appears QE is not required , but CI seems to be.

When I try to use the FrontRowPassKext, I have these errors in Sys Profiler, which I believe prevents me from loading front row:

Word of Caution...

 

If you have Intellimouse drivers installed it will not allow this front row hack to work.

Intellitype drivers should not cause any problem though.
