Khalid
At first i tried opening it, but it crashed, so did VLC and quicktime. Then i went to fix my graphic card driver. After successful installation of graphic card and sound. I have QE/CI enabled. YAY! VLC and all other stuff runs smoothly now. BUT i still can't run iMovie, it unexpectedly closes and the message comes asking me to relaunch or ignore and cancel, Can someone help me out please? Khalid
Are you referring to the Support update package? Because i tried that , and it didn't help. Could you point me in the right direction please. NPPraxis
I had this problem too. The updates fixed all of the rest of iLife except for iMovie. I'm not sure what I did to fix it. Sorry Try opening up Console in Utilities and watching for the error that comes in when you launch iMovie. Copy and paste it in here. Manually download the update from this link: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/imovie71.html I hope this helps others. This is what made my iMovie work.
