ariethekid Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 So I got it working great. My brightness keys are Scroll Lock (Dimmer) and Pause/Break (Brighter). I blended two ApplePS2Controller file together. (Used the mouse and trackpad from one (for REAL 2finger scrolling that I got from an hpmini site made by merklot, [not that voodoops2 {censored}]) and I used the ApplePS2Keyboard from voodoops2 and put all of that in the plugin folder for the merklot PS2Controller and got it working that way. I'm sure there are other methods but this one is close to the real thing. So in summary, display prefs slider works, brightness keys work, and the brightness thing comes on the display when i change it. What I did -Used an ApplePS2Controller.kext made by merklot http://www.mydellmini.com/forum/general-mac-os-x-discussion/5340-touchpad-drivers.html -Put ApplePS2Keyboard.kext from VoodooPS2 (ApplePS2Controller.kext/plugins/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext) from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=175372 into the merklot ApplePS2Controller.kext/Plugins/ -Used a DSDT Edit (adding brightness, edit is found in the program) with DSDTSe found here http://www.osx86.es/?p=610 Repair permissions and reboot don't forget to chown -R root:wheel and chmod -R 755 on any kext you put in the extensions folder. Works if you put it in extra/extensions as well. Working on a Fujitsu T4220 Tablet PC with x3100 rev 03 dev 2a02 If you have this laptop DSDT dump doesn't really work on OSX. You need Phoenix bios editor and pull it out of a bios update from the fujitsu website and edit that dsdt to see any changes. Working on getting sound working properly (audio switching with headphones) otherwise everything works its just annoying to keep changing outputs in the system prefs. WillAdams Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I'm trying to get my ThinkPad x61 tablet running 10.6.8 --- I managed to get it installed once, but couldn't get the tablet/stylus working. After applying the combo updater my screen goes dark, I hope because of some simple problem --- usually I can hear that the system is running by adjusting the volume. The clue would seem to be the message amount invalid max firmware screen brightness --- interestingly, if I turn down the screen brightness then it gets turned back up to maximum just before the grey loading screen is dismissed.
