mhu
Hello, I've installed Kalyway 10.5.1 and used the Nvidia Installer V2.0 by Punk92 to set up my card. I chose the 0.2.1 version of Nvinject and installation went smoothly. I manually edited all the kext files as needed to set the device id of my gfx card to 0x042210de and system loads up perfectly. My problem is, when i plug a VGA cable from my monitor to the pc, leopard boots fine, i can choose from a variant of display resolutions and everything is OK. But when i'm trying to use a DVi cable, leopard boots with a black screen and just hangs up till i manually hard reset and switch back to the VGA cable. Can anyone help me with this issue? i would really like to use the DVi of my gfx card for a better picture. Thanks in advance, mhu
Diegus83
Same problem here, MSI 8400GX 250Mb PCI-E. VGA is fine at 1280*1024, but DVI only gimme a picture for a few seconds if I hot plug it, and totally black when I reboot. Maybe we can try something like this: DVI output needs NVCAP edit. 04000000 00000300 04000000 00000007 00000000 worked. Thats seem to work for 8400GS 512Mb.
