Hi all translators,You can help us to translate the Chameleon Project.You need to have gettext utilities installed.You can install them :* With MacPorts or Finkor* With the package http://dl.dropbox.com/u/112112/Chameleon.Dev/gettext-0.18.1.1.dmgYou need to change your ~/.bashrc or ~/.bash_profile to add the path to the utilities:# MacPorts Installer: adding an appropriate PATH variable for use with MacPorts.export PATH=/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:$PATH# Finished adapting your PATH environment variable for use with MacPorts.# MacPorts Installer: adding an appropriate MANPATH variable for use with MacPorts.export MANPATH=/opt/local/share/man:$MANPATH# Finished adapting your MANPATH environment variable for use with MacPorts.You must also have a PO editor like Poedit: http://www.poedit.net/download.phpThe files to translate are in package/po directory. Open them with your PO editor and translate <img src='http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />.If you want to add a new language copy the package/po/chameleon.pot to po/$lang.po where $lang isthe new language you want to add. Example to add belgian language:# cp package/po/chameleon.pot package/po/be.poNow you can start translating the new po file with your PO editor

Pls translate/complete it.

Neither Chameleon 2.3 svn r2434 or r2437 boot OS X 10.10 on my Asus P5Q Pro.......the "LEDs" for the OS X 10.10 and Recovery HD icons stay red when they are selected.....whereas with Chameleon 2.2 svn r2401there is no Recovery HD icon present but  the  HDD icon "LED" for OS X 10.10 changes to green when icon is selected and OS X 10.10 boots successfully.....I suspect this will be true for my Asus P5Q E and Asus P5N 32E SLI Plus.....

I turned on HDA Enabler on my rig and used HDEFLayoutID=01000000, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work when I tried using Piker-Alpha's HDA kext, nor did it show up on IORegistryExplorer.

I'm trying to make the internal HDA module in Cham work since you mentioned on Chris' Yosemite thread that I should just ditch Toleda's kext and use the embedded one instead.

currently on Yosemite 10.10.

Graph of 'Frequency' section in 'INTEL POWER GADGET' not loading when using Chameleon 2.3 svn r2468 / r2456 ??? (numerical values of realtime cpu frequency were loading properly)

No issue when using r2437.

2549 installer fails on case-sensitive HFS partition. In many scripts "PlistBuddy" is written as "plistbuddy".

Thanks and sorry, it's my mistake, this will be corrected immediately.

Hello everyone,

I hope it's ok to I ask this here:  is there anything that can be done to get Chameleon to boot Yosemite with the new Black Background + White Apple Logo screen? I am using Chameleon-2.3svn-r2510 and it boots Yosemite much faster than Clover!  I have already seen a post where it is possible to change the boot screen background from Grey to Black.  The problem with this fix is that the progress bar/spinner are no longer visible.

One thing I don't understand is this:  I read in several forums that Chameleon doesn't draw the boot screen from boot.efi.  The thing is, after I entered the flag "meter=0" in my "org.chameleon.boot.plist", the boot screen showed the spinner instead of the progress bar, which looks way better IMO.  Is this feature not being drawn from "boot.efi"?

I'd appreciate any help!! Thanks!!

You can try this two image on your default theme with black Background  :)

Hi again chris.

The images won't work. Not for what I want to do anyway.  I want the "boot-up screen" to have a "black background" with a "white apple logo" and "white progress bar or spinner" (I prefer the spinner).  The images you sent to me could be changed inside my default Chameleon's theme, I know it.  I am talking about the screen that comes up "after" the default theme screen, during OS load-up. Any more ideas anyone? Thanks!!

I got the AllocateKernelMemory error after upgrading to r2549. I can boot r2510 normally.

I am using Yosemite 10.10.2. No extra modules used in Chameleon. My org.chameleon.Boot.plist is:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">

	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>Graphics Mode</key>
	<string>1920x1080x32</string>
	<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
	<string>Yes</string>
	<key>Kernel Flags</key>
	<string>npci=0x2000 nvda_drv=1 dart=0</string>
	<key>Timeout</key>
	<string>1</string>
	<key>USBBusFix</key>

</dict>
</plist>
