Hi, I almost installed a good hack, but with the help of my good teacher, Allan, they really helped me a lot.
I want to know how to install AR9596 for my Wi-Fi because every tutorial I go through does not recognize Wi-Fi!

It still does not work with the beta 6 or Monterey I thint it is time to change it for  a fenvi

I heard OCLP can activate legacy wireless card (on Monterey).

I read on OCLP changelogs and unsupported mac Monterey MacRumors forum there's few people success enable their Atheros. So, I did a test on my Ivy Bridge Acer laptop, but the Patcher didn't detect my Atheros, only detect hd4000.

Tp link wdn4800 ar9380 cannot be driven under Big Sur 11.6 system. Using the above loading to add in oc0.74 version cannot be driven under bigsur

no, i dont think so. I used atheros bootable without issue, but panic when added hs80211family 

Still stuck when trying enable wifi on Monterey, while fine in Big Sur

And i realized important: while used propertree OC Snapshot, this warning only appear with hs80211family kext exist! anyone can make AR9285 working in Monterey?

 

With another IO80211.kext can OC Snapshot fine but still cant enable wifi:

 I can also load HS80211Family.kext but if I try to load modified AirportAtheros40.kext, I get ...

It is because AirPortAtheros40 has com.apple.iokit.HS80211Family as OSBundleLibraries inside the plist.Therefore it is looking for HS80211Family.kext instead of IO80211Family.kext

Yep, makes total sense. But what doesn't make sense was that HS80211Family.kext was happily loaded in kernel space when I got this message.

 

I was obviously changing too many variables at a time and so confused both myself and my computer !

 

Anyway, no matter.  I can now happily report that the bin-modded High Sierra version of IO80211Family.kext. a.k.a.

HS80211Family.kext, plus the accompanying AR9462 version of AirPortAtheros40.kext TOTALLY WORKS via injection.

 

So, the rumors are true!!!

 

The AR9462 WiFi chip gets one last life on Big Sur.

 

YES, Dirt Cheap 5GHz band WiFi can be yours.

 

This is OFFICIAL on MacOS Big Sur 11.6.4 with OC 0.7.7.

 

Major KUDOS to the Creator(s).

I have Big Sur and 9565 is my Wi-Fi model.
I downloaded exactly the files and put them in oc/kexts.
And then I added them with my opencore configure
But unfortunately Wi-Fi does not work again:

I restarted the laptop, but it didn't work

Even this AirportBrcmFixup.kext, I removed the enabled tick from the settings and restarted, but the problem was still not solved!
