I bought this 2014 MacBook Pro retina display but it had NO backlight
I actually did an Install on it FLYING BLIND
I made this program to see what its specs were.
Works by having Mac OS whatever on an external hdd and setting GetSysInfo.app as a login app
MAKE SURE THE EXTERNAL HDD HAS LOGON SET TO AUTOMATIC
i.e NO LOGON SCREEN
You will get a get a full system summary when booted off the external
as well as a FULL ACPI dump which is a FULL in bios amls
and a LOADED ACPI dump which are the LOADED amls

Place SysInfo App Into A Folder To Make It Work Correctly
GetSysInfo.app saves to e.g FOLDER NAME/iMac20,1/system_report_mini.spx This loads into System Information when double clicked
/AcpiTables/ The LOADED aml files
/FULL/ The FULL aml files, You can load both into MacIAsL

Open Terminal drag audiogain.comand to it and press return/enter
drop top level folder of MP3's onto the terminal window
It will do ALL folders beneath the top one 😉

I have Intel Wifi so need to wait for network to be up
I created this app to WAIT for NETWORK to be up, sometimes it is fast to come up and
sometimes it is slow.
I'm running Thunderbird as a login app
Its comes up if wifi is connected
and errors out if not.
This app puts a delay and waits for NETWORK to be up then runs ThunderBird, No more error
I also have steam loading as well
It errors out if network not up
So I do same as TB
Run Automater and load Delay into it and tailor make it for your own needs

Info.plist has been edited so Bundle version is 999.1.1 ---> give higher priority loading in kernel cache/pre-linked kernel than v329 from later betas/GM. Need to disable SIP (since editing info.plist invalidates Apple's kext signature).
Install in /Library/Extensions (so doesn't get over-written during updates) repair permissions, rebuild caches eg
sudo chown -R 0:0 /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext && sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / Test kext is loadable...
sudo kextutil -tn /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext Confirm kext is loaded after rebooting the system...
kextstat | grep AHCIPort To use with a USB installer, the kext needs to be included in the prelinkedkernel. Use PLK.tool attached to post#13 to create a new prelinkedkernel with AppleAHCIPort.kext v328, then replace original prelinkedkernel in the installer - post#16.

instuctions flash bios with QFlash Restart pc hit delete key go into bios settings and reset from screen shots inside zip file
Flashing bios can trash your motherboard. use this file at your own risk. what works for me mite not work for you.
works on 10.12.3 ,10.12.4, you may need web drivers and you will need to sort the sound out yourself
